At this time we are able to fax prescriptions to a pharmacy as long as a fax number is provided, mail written prescriptions to your address on file, or leave a written prescription at the front desk for you to pick up.  We no longer call in prescriptions to the pharmacy.

As you are probably aware, physician offices are not reimbursed by insurance companies for calling in prescriptions and it is an extremely time intensive process.  Over the past year, many doctor offices have started charging for such a service, require a visit for refills, or only phone them in for an emergency.  Our policy of only faxing prescriptions allows us to meet patient needs with a minimum amount of inconvenience and frees our clinical staff to continue providing excellent care.
